Would you like to travel to Croatia in your electric car? At Apartment Carmen in Soline on the island of Krk you can conveniently top up your vehicle during your stay and then explore the island at leisure.
Krk is connected directly to the mainland by the Krk Bridge, so no ferry crossing is needed. At Apartment Carmen you stay in a quiet place, with personal care and a practical charging option right at the house.
A practical charging option for our guests
At Apartment Carmen a practical charging option for electric vehicles is available to our registered guests.
Charging is intended purely as a convenience for our guests – for topping up the battery during your stay, not as a substitute for a public charging station or a fast charger.
You can charge your vehicle free of charge for seven hours a day. We will let you know the exact time window – either from 10:00 to 17:00 or from 22:00 to 05:00 – before you arrive.
Outside this free window, charging is still possible by prior arrangement, for a fair, guest-friendly fee. This way we also want to help guests who urgently need to charge, without competing with public or fast charging services.
The charging option is available exclusively to our overnight guests and is not open to the public.
How much can you charge?
The charging power is about 2.3 kW. Depending on the vehicle, its charge level and the charging time, you can add roughly 15 kWh per day. The actual amount of energy depends on the vehicle and the charging conditions.
This makes it particularly suitable for slow top-up charging during a longer stay or overnight.
Please note: this is not a public fast charger and not a substitute for a powerful DC charging station. For everyday use during your holiday, however, it is a practical addition.

Relaxed travel around Krk
With your electric car you can discover the island at your own pace. From Soline you can easily reach various beaches, bays, viewpoints and towns in your own vehicle.
Longer trips to the town of Krk, Baška, Vrbnik, Malinska or other sights are also easy to plan. For precise route planning we recommend checking the range you need and the charging stations along the way before you set off.

HAK can organise the necessary roadside assistance and, depending on the situation, arrange for the vehicle to be transported to a suitable workshop.
We are, of course, also happy to help you find the right public charging station or the nearest suitable contact.
Quiet accommodation with personal care
Apartment Carmen is located in Soline, in a quiet bay in the north-east of the island of Krk. The beach is about a five-minute walk away.
We live in the same house and welcome our guests personally. On arrival you receive important information about the accommodation and, if you wish, personal recommendations for beaches, restaurants and excursions on the island.
Parking for your vehicle is available on the property. Apartment Carmen A2 has a private, covered parking space with video surveillance. For Apartment Carmen A1 a space is provided subject to availability.

Apartment Carmen A1
Apartment A1 is suitable for up to two people and has a covered terrace. It is particularly suited to couples who want to discover Krk calmly and flexibly by electric car.
Apartment Carmen A2
Apartment A2 sleeps up to four people and has two rooms. It comes with a private, covered parking space with video surveillance.
