Is free parking available?
Yes. A2 has a private, covered parking space. For A1, a parking space is available subject to availability.Is the accommodation suitable for families with children?
Yes, thanks to the nearby shallow water, playgrounds, and quiet surroundings.Are pets accepted?
Yes, we accept pets for an additional fee for their stay.Is the apartment air-conditioned and does it have Wi-Fi?
Air conditioning is installed in the apartment and isn't charged extra.
Free Wi-Fi is available in the apartment and around the house.Can we barbecue and use the outdoor terrace?
The outdoor terrace with a sun umbrella is the most important place where you'll spend your time.
An outdoor fireplace is available to you.
On the grounds, next to the lawn, there's also a seating area with a solid wooden table and benches, under a pergola with grapevines and an outdoor shower.
We're flying in to Rijeka Airport — how do we get to you?
We arrange a free transfer to the airport for our guests.
You'll be picked up at the airport and taken to the apartment, and on the last day of your holiday we'll drive you back to the airport. Please send us your flight details so we can plan ahead.
A rental car on site can be arranged by agreement.
What about the beach and swimming?
Soline Bay offers a wide range of beach types. Here you'll find pebble beaches, natural rock beaches, concrete ones, grassy areas shaded by trees, and the largest beaches with healing mud, where sun umbrellas and private spots can be reserved. There's plenty for children too – playgrounds and shallow-water access. The main Soline beach flies the Blue Flag, and there's a dog beach nearby as well.
How far is the shopping centre?
It's best to take a look at our photo gallery or the Google Map on our contact page. You'll recognise Soline Bay by every little detail. From our house it's 400 metres to the main beach, about a 5-minute walk; the small shops are just as close. Our 2 bikes are available if you'd rather not walk. But sometimes there's so much beach gear to carry that it can only be done by car — in that case, it's just a few minutes' drive to the neighbouring village and larger shops.
What are restaurants like on the island of Krk?
The island of Krk is full of good restaurants, picturesque konobas (traditional taverns), cafés, and bars. The hospitality of the people, restaurants with a warm atmosphere, and truly good cooking make your stay on this island a real treat for the palate. Even the Romans called Krk the “shining city,” while the Venetians nicknamed it “happy and golden” — both names still hold true today.
