A weekend on the island of Krk is easy to plan. Rijeka Airport is located right on the island of Krk, only about 10 kilometres from Apartment Carmen in Soline. By prior arrangement we organise your free transfer from the airport to our accommodation.
This way your short break begins without a long journey, complicated transfers or unnecessary organisation.
Straight from landing to your apartment
Simply send us your flight details. We coordinate your arrival with you and make sure you get to Soline easily after landing.
There we welcome you personally and show you everything you need for a pleasant stay. If you have questions about the island, restaurants, beaches or excursions, we are happy to help with personal recommendations.
Check-in is possible from 14:00. On the day of departure we kindly ask you to leave the apartment by 10:00.
For a weekend you don't necessarily need a car
Apartment Carmen is located in quiet Soline Bay. The beach is about 400 metres away, roughly a five-minute walk.
Even for a short stay you will find plenty of what you need close by:
- the beach and Soline Bay
- the beach with healing mud
- quiet walking paths
- restaurants and shops in Klimno and Čižići
- excursion destinations such as the Biserujka Cave
- beautiful places and beaches across the island of Krk
If you would like to explore more of the island, we are happy to help you arrange a rental car. A rental car is not a requirement for a relaxing weekend with us, though.
Ideas for three relaxed days on Krk
Arrive and unwind
After the transfer from the airport you can settle into your apartment, relax on the terrace and spend the first evening at leisure in Soline or at a nearby restaurant.
Sea, healing mud and island atmosphere
The next day the beach is an easy walk away. Soline Bay is known for its warm sea, its calm atmosphere and its healing mud.
A trip around Krk
On the third day you can explore the island, visit the Biserujka Cave, discover another beach or visit a place such as the town of Krk or Baška.
Three days are enough to briefly escape everyday life and recharge – without a long journey and without complicated planning.

Apartment Carmen A1 sleeps up to two people and is particularly suitable for couples or solo travellers.
The apartment has a covered terrace and offers you a quiet and private retreat for a short stay on Krk.
Apartment Carmen A2
Apartment Carmen A2 sleeps up to four people and has two rooms.
The apartment comes with a covered private parking space. A2 is particularly suitable for families or guests who want a little more space.
Both apartments are in the same house. If you are travelling with two families, you can enquire about both apartments together.

We live in the same house and welcome our guests personally. So on arrival you get not only the key, but also a direct contact person for your whole stay.
We are happy to answer questions about the island, recommend restaurants and excursions and give you tips you won't necessarily find in every guidebook.
