Not a holiday resort with a promenade and beach bars, but a small village without through traffic \u2013 with shallow, calm water that warms up early in summer. We have lived here for more than twenty years and want to show you what makes Soline special.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"585\" height=\"259\" src=\"https:\/\/apartment-carmen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/rana-04a.jpg\" class=\"carmen-soline__slika\" alt=\"Soline Bay on the island of Krk at dusk\" loading=\"eager\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>The bay and its healing mud<\/h2>\n<p>Soline Bay is shallow and slopes gently \u2013 ideal for children and for anyone who prefers to wade in slowly. It is best known for its healing mud: for generations, the fine sea mud has been credited with a soothing effect on skin and joints. Many guests apply it, let it dry in the sun and then wash it off in the sea. The way to the beach is downhill and the way back uphill \u2013 so allow a minute more.
